John Rodstrom is the Managing Partner at the law firm Rodstrom Law, PLLC, located in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. He concentrates his practice on business litigation, business and corporate-related matters, government relations, land use and zoning, lobbying and securities litigation.
Using his extensive experience for the benefit of his clients, Mr. Rodstrom is known for his effective litigation skills and his knowledge of consensus building among various parties. He serves as a zealous and tireless advocate for the rights of his clients, with an unwavering commitment to their interests and needs.
Mr. Rodstrom received his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration – Finance, with a minor in Entrepreneurship from the University of Florida. He went on to receive his Juris Doctor at the Stetson University College of Law, while also receiving a Master of Business Administration at the Stetson University School of Business.
Before founding his firm, he worked at a boutique law firm in South Florida, specializing in high-stakes complex commercial litigation and securities litigation. He then served as the primary legal counsel for a family office based out of Aspen, CO, overseeing the legal affairs of dozens of businesses. His responsibilities included drafting a wide range of complex business transactional documents and supervising litigation relating to the family office and its subsidiaries.
He started Rodstrom Law, PLLC, with an aim to handle business transactions and commercial litigation cases. In addition, he is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Real Web Technologies, Inc., an organization that provides graphic design, hosting, marketing and consulting services to political campaigns and other industries.
Mr. Rodstrom is an Executive Committee Member of the Board of Advisors at The Salvation Army, a charitable organization that helps homeless people and people in dire need. He also serves as the Chairman of the Salvation Army’s Adult Rehabilitation Center’s Advisory Council and is a Member of Fort Lauderdale’s Budget Advisory Board making recommendations to the Fort Lauderdale City Commission regarding Fort Lauderdale’s $1,100,000,000+ budget.
Honored for his impeccable work in the legal field, Mr. Rodstrom has been named a Rising Star by Thomson Reuters Super Lawyers for the last four years and has been named to the list of Top Up & Comers for commercial litigation by the South Florida Legal Guide. He was also included in the list of FACES of Fort Lauderdale for high-stakes litigation and has also been named a Top Lawyer by Fort Lauderdale Illustrated Magazine for his work in commercial litigation, land use, and zoning law and securities litigation.

In Re: FTX Cryptocurrency Exchange Collapse Litigation: Represented the Plaintiffs and the class in the the FTX MDL, one of the largest litigations in history, for various claims involving securities fraud and the sale of unregistered securities.
Gopher et al, v. Wells Fargo Bank N.A., et al.: Represented the members of the Seminole Tribe in a multibillion dollar bank fraud action against a major bank.
Mobile Mike Promotions, Inc. v. The Seminole Tribe of Florida, Inc. et al.: Represented members of the Seminole Tribe Tribal Council and STOFI in a 255M lawsuit.
The Las Olas Company, et al. v. Florida Power & Light Company, et al.: Represented the Plaintiffs and the class in a class action against FPL and their subcontractors relating to a water main break that caused the entirety of the City of Fort Lauderdale to go days without potable water.
Michael Sizemore v. Binance Holdings Limited, et al.: Represented the Plaintiffs and the class in an action against Binance and its CEO Changpeng Zhao for securities fraud.
Dominik Karnas, et al. v. Mark Cuban, Dallas Mavericks, Robert Gronkowski, et al.: Represented the Plaintiffs and the class in an action against several high profile defendants related to their involvement with the now defunct Voyager cryptocurrency exchange.

AllState Insurance Company v. Wells Fargo Bank, N.A.: Represented AllState in a multimillion dollar bank fraud action against Wells Fargo for their participation in a PIP fraud scheme perpetrated by a foreign mafia organization.
Henry Wasik v. Patriot National, Inc., et al. Represented the former CEO of Patriot National, Inc. in a derivative class action securities lawsuit relating to the downfall of a publicly traded company.
